API Heat Transfer Maintenance Technician in Racine, Wisconsin

Hiring immediately for a maintenance technician on 1st shift (5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)!

What We Offer You:

What You Will Do:

This maintenance technician is responsible for providing manufacturing operations with the required support relative to machine repair, preventative maintenance, installation, and continuous improvement.

· Mechanical repair, electrical repair, and installation of all production machinery. SC: Mechanical/electrical ability/experience is adequate for the requirements of the position.

· Facilities repair and improvements such as electrical, painting, plumbing.

· Maintain the chemical storage area. Move oils, solvents glycols from the plant floor into storage and maintain chemical log sheet.

· Perform periodic preventative maintenance on all production equipment.

· Comply with all the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies, and procedures of API Heat Transfer.

· Comply with all API Heat Transfer policies related to acceptable workplace behavior.

What You Bring:

  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.

  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time.

  • Visual acuity as needed to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.

  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to follow directions and work well in a team.

  • Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation as required.

  • Thorough understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, production equipment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
