Position Description: Modine is looking for an Electrician to join our team at our Racine, WI global headquarters. You will have the responsibility to come in and hit the ground running. You will be responsible and take ownership of all electrical duties. Key Responsibilities: Plans proposed installations from sketches or diagrams with general instructions issues by dependent head. Occasionally make up sketches Lays out, assembles, installs and tests a wide variety of complex equipment such as automatic controls, power systems, switch gear and welders. Tests electric and electronic devices for performance. Repairs motors and other electrical equipment including welders. Maintains electrical equipment necessary for the proper performance of light and power. Traces and locates electrical circuits and makes necessary repairs Forms and installs electrical conduit of all sizes. Familiar with city and state electrical code. Uses all types of hand held power tools Occasionally makes pull boxes and control panels Will move motors, transformers and welders. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience A state indentured electrician apprenticeship is required. A master electrician\'s license or journeyman\'s maintenance electrician card is required. Knowledge of blueprints and ability to work from schematic drawings. Understanding of test equipment and when specific tools are appropriate. Knowledge of AC&DC current. Knowledge of electronic controls.
