Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Archer Case Review – Covers review and assessment of all archer cases, ensuring all active CAPs for archer cases were completed and closed on time.

  • Provide key decision support to the key business stakeholders through availability of relevant quality data, providing weekly and monthly detailed analysis and recommending appropriate action plan on trending quality issues.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all monthly quality activities are executed and completed such as quality meeting to all the teams being supported, quality coaching for low performing staff, quality reports and quality calibrations. .

  • Responsible for integrity and accuracy of quality results and reports

  • Strengthen quality controls and improve risk management

  • Manage the operations of the MI Quality Controllers Team – ensures efficient, effective processes with built-in internal controls in place

Reporting directly to Quality Manager for Investments, the Investments Senior Quality Leader is primarily accountable to provide oversight and direction for the MI Centralized Quality Controllers’ Team through timely and accurate service delivery of deliverables and quality reports

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree Graduate from any Business course: Finance, Management or Accounting

  • 3-5 years of progressive responsibility within Manulife Investments (e.g. Processor, Quality Analyst or Trainer)

  • 2+ years of people management and with strong leadership experience

  • Experience working with senior management teams (stakeholder management requiring persuasion / influencing skills

  • Strong technical quality and management reporting, analysis, forecasting and management skills with a solid understanding of the business environment

  • Excel skills

  • Advanced Knowledge of Manulife Investments products and mainframes (Ifast Base/Desktop, AW)

  • Strong oral/written communication skills required to interact with senior officers and representatives from other Divisions and functional departments
