Job Description:

We’re looking for a Privacy Impact Assessment Reviewer to join our Integrated Compliance Services team at MBPS. In this role, you are responsible in supporting the Privacy Office in monitoring and reviewing of privacy impact assessments and managing the privacy office inbox. With minimal supervision, the incumbent exercises sound independent judgement including tracking processes within required applications and other delegated responsibilities associated with the business. The role also ensures privacy impact analysis aligns with global standards, established procedures and capable of mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Privacy Impact Assessment Reviewer:

Monitor and respond to privacy review requests received through the Privacy Office inbox. Review requests to help determine which Segments / territories are impacted by the initiative. Act as a single point of contact for active privacy review requests. Deploy PIAs to initiative representatives.

  • Segment Privacy teams to provide resource with guardrails so it’s clear when they need to be engaged directly (vs having the global resource do the work on their behalf.

  • Interface with the Asia team / framework for managing initiative risk.

  • Review completed PIAs and provide challenge (as appropriate and based on guardrails provided by Segment teams).

  • Identify missing /incorrect /inconsistent information so initiative representative can make updates.

  • Challenge initiative representatives’ responses to PIAs to help ensure privacy-related risks are appropriately managed.

  • Follow-up with initiative representatives and Segment Privacy teams to help ensure timely completion of PIAs and / or other privacy-related initiative activities to help ensure privacy reviews are completed timely.

  • Help ensure appropriate escalation of privacy risks as needed.

  • Share insights, trends, metrics, etc., to support stakeholders in monitoring and process enhancements.

  • Help identify opportunities for improvement by improving / developing tools, templates, guides to support the privacy risk management program. Work with Privacy team to help ensure insights, challenges, and gaps that arise from initiative reviews are incorporated into related communications (e.g., reporting).

Others

  • Provide general support to the privacy risk management program as required.

  • Provide general support as part of the ICS Regulatory COE team, if needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience related to compliance, audit, regulatory, privacy risk management field.

  • Compliance experience is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably related to business management, accountancy, internal audit.

  • Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation or Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to carry out expected output independently and with minimal supervision.

  • Possesses in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge how own areas integrates with others.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong technology skills including knowledge of applicable compliance or business systems.

  • Strong ethical compass and positive outlook with basic prior compliance experience.

  • Basic understanding of the privacy-regulatory environment in which the Company operates and a strong understanding of key compliance requirements applicable to the business.

  • Exhibited investment in compliance career (e.g. LOMA certification or CIPM registration).

  • Ability to collaborate with roles from different areas and at all levels across the organization.

  • Ability to interpret and present technical information to multiple stakeholders. Applies experience and judgment to be able to identify, assess, and clearly communicate risks and privacy-related requirements with a team to bring processes into compliance.

  • Strong Microsoft skills on word, excel, power point, power BI, etc. which may be used for reporting purposes.
