Citigroup Senior Vice President, Finance Reporting Sr. Lead Analyst (Hybrid) in Queens, New York

The Finance FR Y-14 Actuals Reporting lead is a senior level position responsible for the preparation, analysis, reconciliation, and review of FR Y-14Q (CCAR) Wholesale Schedules with detailed perspective on data quality issues, at Citi. The objective of this role is to provide accurate reporting to our Regulators by operationalizing processes to successfully drive remediation of data quality issues in products (i.e., Wholesale Loans) impacting the FR Y-14 reporting. This role is part of the Global Regulatory Reporting Controllers function that has oversight and ownership of the FR Y-14 Actuals Reporting, including support of the CFO Attestation process and will partner closely with Report Owners, CCAR Schedule Owners, Country/Product Controllers, Technology, Finance, and counterparts in Global Regulatory Reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares the FR Y-14Q Wholesale Schedules in close partnership with FR Y-14 Schedule Owners, FR Y-14 Report Owners, Business, and other peers to collect and review data and reporting requirements for FR Y-14Q Wholesale Schedules.

  • Completes FR Y-14Q Wholesale Schedules reporting analytics such as, edit checks, period over period variances and cross report reconciliation including FR Y-9C, FFIEC101, and /or other Capital adequacy reports. Maintains and enhances related operational and analytical procedures.

  • Leads the analysis and remediation of Wholesale Loans data issues raised impacting the FR Y-14 Actuals reporting with Data Providers.

  • Maximizes remediation efforts by collaborating across other Key Regulatory Report Owners and Production teams impacted by FR Y-14 data issues to drive solutions in a timely manner.

  • Performs data profiling and supports risk-based transaction testing to validate report data quality and accuracy from source systems and documents. Recommends additional controls, as appropriate.

  • Prepares metrics to measure, monitor and communicate data quality improvement, data issue remediation and implemented controls’ effectiveness in line with established targets.

  • Assesses and challenges the completeness and timeliness of action plans, escalating issues for prioritized resolution and monitoring issues to closure.

  • Builds and maintains a thorough understanding of related product analytics (i.e., Wholesale Loans) and utilizes knowledge of systems and process flows to provide insight and recommendations on identified issues.

  • Communicates with senior leadership on data issue remediation progress, challenges, and next steps.

  • Leads day-to-day operational execution and senior management report reviews.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Regulatory Reporting with special focus on FR Y-14 and FR Y-9C.

  • Experience with Wholesale Credit Risk regulatory, finance and/or risk management reporting.

  • Familiarity with Citi’s Risk and Finance reporting data infrastructures and platforms across multiple products, functions, and/or businesses preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel.

  • Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to present and influence across organization level and functions.

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree required

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Tampa Salary Range: $130,880.00 to $174,507.00
