This position will lead by achieving individual and company sales and delivery of objectives through active promotion of Controls /Automated Logic as a professional organisation that delivers high quality service and maintenance of BMS control systems and projects. The Account Manager provides team leadership and national operational direction to the business operations, ensuring all efforts are directed in securing and maintaining small projects, maintenance and servicing within the allocated area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for generating sales, hand in hand with account management of the service and maintenance contracts.

  • Actively promote and professionally deliver Carrier /Automated Logic’s service and projects offerings to new and existing customers.

  • Work with other team members at all times to ensure delivery of promises to customers, and to maximise lifetime business opportunities.

  • Provide a high level of technical support to Service Technicians and Carrier / Automated Logic customers.

  • Regularly visit key customers, ensure there are no ongoing issues, and maximise sales opportunities at each customer site.

  • Liaise with technicians and site contacts for purposes of submitting timely quotations for additional works.

  • Be aware of overall Company financial objectives and work proactively to achieve those goals.

  • Identify and develop relationships with existing and new customers, sub-contractors and suppliers.

  • Together with the Operations Manager, complete scheduled reviews of Service Technician's personal performance and performance measurements.

  • Resolve customer service and account disputes in a timely manner as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Building Automation and HVAC Industry.

  • People management and team-working experience.

  • Strong knowledge of Building Automation Technologies, Designs and related industries.

  • Strong problem solving ability and initiatives.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to develop and sell commercial contracts.
