We are seeking a Wargaming Action Officer for an on-site position for a major program, supporting the government customer by conducting various staff actions. Staff actions include managing program schedules, coordinating with other Services and commands, planning and leading meetings, developing and delivering program briefs, preparing feasibility of support requests, coordinating player participation, identifying IT requirements, and planning, preparing, and executing war game conferences/workshops. Serves as day-to-day interface to the government customer. Perform day-to-day administrative tasks and requirements in support of multiple and simultaneous war-game projects. Serve as support staff coordinator during the execution of a game/exercise and orchestrate large support staff. Assists in the development and production of war-game and scenario products to include: road to war, references, orders of battle, maps, and intelligence assessments.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, assertive and inquisitive individual who can exercise initiative and takes pride in and ownership of their assigned program. Individual should have the ability to quickly transition from small detail execution to big-picture thinking, possess a good understanding of defense and strategic issues; and able to perform in high-paced, multi-tasking office environments.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Qualified candidates must have a current and active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

1 year professional work experience with BA/BS

Ability to work in collaborative team/staff environments

Strong interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of military affairs and/or foreign policy.

MS Office, especially ability to build professional PowerPoint presentations

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

BA in International Relations, Security Studies, Strategic Studies, Public Policy, or related fields.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $61820 - $105050

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
