The Engineering/ Information System Security Officer (ISSO) will be responsible for providing capabilities necessary to discover vulnerabilities in both internal and external applications through security assessments and automated scanning. The Engineering/ ISSO will manually validate vulnerabilities found during automated scanning and open records for those validated findings. Engineering/ ISSO will analyze findings and develop risk mitigation techniques, validate the remediation of findings reported by system owners, and advise system owners on strategies for remediating vulnerabilities when necessary. The Engineering/ ISSO will also e valuate systems and applications for compliance with applicable policies and STIGs.

Certification Requirements: This position will require DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II compliance. Selected candidate must hold a valid IAT Level II certification.Education/ Experience: A bachelor's degree and five (5) years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, engineering, or information assurance is required. Experience with IA tools such as eMass or ACAS preferred. Security Clearance: An active Secret clearance is required. Applicant selected will be subject to security investigation(s) and must maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

RMC employees may be subject to COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements in order to access government facilities.
