Job Information

The Secant Group, LLC HVAC Technician in Quakertown, Pennsylvania

What we are looking for:

The HVAC Technician will install, maintain, and repair machinery, HVAC, production equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems in a safe manner.

Shift:  Monday-Friday, 7am - 3pm with on-call rotation

What you will do:

  •  Tests and diagnoses malfunctioning machinery, HVAC, and collaborates with other maintenance technicians to develop and install proper repairs
  • Installs compressed air and other utilities for newly installed machines and equipment
  • Repairs or replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment
  • Replaces air conditioner filters, damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles and wall coverings
  • Purchases appropriate parts to repair, replace or otherwise make functional any of the above mentioned areas
  • Performs, assists and guides repairs, installations and troubleshooting of Company equipment with contractors and other Company personnel
  • Documents work performed and submits completed work orders in a timely manner
  • Works overtime normal work week and weekend as requested
  • Works on-call as part of the maintenance department rotation/schedule. On-call requires position to be available during normal non-work hours and days and be available to report to work and perform all job duties.* *
    • Seeks and provides feedback on a consistent basis from peers, and management regarding individual performance.
    • Follows all applicable Company work instructions, S.O.P.'s, and guidelines
    • Follows established safety requirements and wears required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    • Performs other job related responsibilities as assigned

Who you are:

  • 3-5 years of industrial HVAC experience
  • Valid PA Driver's License
  • EPA Certified
  • Vocational Technical degree is preferred
