Belle Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 59-bed skilled rehabilitation facility offering short and long-term care in Quakertown, PA. We are dedicated to providing personalized rehabilitation and nursing services to our residents and off-site patients.

Belle Terrace is now under new management and hiring a full-time Activities Assistant who is committed to providing the best life and care for our residents. If you are looking forward to becoming a part of a dynamic team, we would love to meet you!

As an Activities Assistant y ou will:

Help plan and execute events that encourage the cognitive, social, and physical interaction of our residents. These activities are therapeutic and essential to our patients' quality of life.

Y ou research suitable programs and help get residents involved.

You may arrange for guest speakers or performers, plan parties or develop ongoing classes and groups for the residents. For example, you might lead a craft project, create a book discussion group or arrange for an exercise class.

All the activities must be appropriate for group’s age and abilities.

Activities Assistants also complete some administrative duties, such as ordering supplies and creating newsletters or schedules.

We prefer candidates who have experience in elderly care, particularly to individuals with dementia.
