Job Title
Vice President, Product Development
The identity services team is responsible for product management and innovative product development of products and services to address the evolving risk and security needs of all of Mastercard’s various customer segments.
The Identity product team leads the development and creation of innovative global, scalable solutions leveraging assets from the acquisition of NuData and Ekata.
The candidate for this position of Director, Identity Product Management will work with technology, product and regional teams to lead the development and commercialization of new products.

Role
• Generates innovative product solutions and drives product development to address customer needs, market trends, and competitive opportunities
• Partners with global/regional teams to identify opportunities for products and inform internal stakeholders on new product offerings
• Initiates and directs qualitative and quantitative market research to validate trends and competitive opportunities for developing new products
• Develops and presents business cases for new product opportunities
• Leads go-to-market process and interacts with technical developers to translate product requirements into technical specifications ensuring mutual understanding to minimize time to market
• Validates technical delivery and ensures that output complies with the product requirements and is fit-for-purpose
Is an expert in the identity space and understand the competitive market for biometrics and identity verification
Skills
• Demonstrated success in product management and product development:
• Experience conducting product demonstrations and presenting compelling product propositions at external industry events for key stakeholders/audience
• Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results with external stakeholders as well as global, multi-cultural and remote project teams
• Experience with facilitating and coordinating major product and strategic development initiatives for a global organization
• Strong track record at synthesizing products and services from multiple functional areas into value propositions that align with regional or local customer needs
• In-depth knowledge of behavioral biometrics, device identity and identity verification
• Good understanding of payment technologies is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to manage integrated product solutions spanning multiple channels/segments (i.e., issuer, acquirer, merchant, cardholder, local, regional, global)
• Proven expertise in building winning business cases, translating them into stories to gain approval, and delivering strong P&L results
Work locations: Can - Vancouver, BC, US - Seattle, WA, US- St. Louis, MI, US- New York, NY
Travel up to 25% is required.
We operate in a hybrid model with 2 days per week in office encouraged.
