Position Overview

Fusion is a cloud-based 3D modeling, CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB software platform for professional product design and manufacturing. We're looking for a motivated Software QA Engineer to join in the Design Engineering QA team to focus on developing and optimizing the automation tools/test suites to help improve the productivity of the software development & testing cycles.

This is a hybrid position based in Pune. You will report to Software QA Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Perform both Manual and Automation testing for Fusion to ensure the accuracy and functionality of graphics related areas

  • Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution

  • Verify the graphics functions consistency across different OS, platforms, devices, etc.

  • Help team to confirm, validate defects based on the customer reporting and description

  • Create automation cases based on the in-house automation tool by following test design

  • Complete assigned testing tasks on time and report progress on testing timely

  • Provide on-demand updates to Stakeholders for project status, overall quality status, and risks

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Design or a related field with 2+ years experience

  • Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, test case development and defect tracking

  • Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools.

  • Good team collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail

  • Can work independently on daily activities and follow guidance on new assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with 3D Mechanical CAD/CAE software (CATIA, IDEAS, Pro/Engineer, Inventor, Fusion 360)

  • Knowledges with software testing methodologies

  • Experience in manual testing, specifically in graphics-related software applications

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus
