Overview

Data Science and Artificial Intelligence represents the next phase in the advancement of our digital transformation and is a significant evolution for MasterCard. We continue to evolve our Data Science and AI strategy to support aggressive growth plans, and we are seeking a driven and experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our growing team. You will bridge the gap between engineering, product, and business stakeholders, fostering clear communication and driving alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with engineering teams to define scope, break down projects into manageable tasks, and create detailed program roadmaps.

• Develop and implement team plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies.

• Proactively identify and manage program risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.

• Use tools like Rally/Jira/Aha to track team progress, analyze key metrics, and communicate program health to stakeholders.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, design, and business teams.

• Conduct PI Planning sessions and make sure that team has all the features and stories defined and estimated properly.

• Translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for non-technical stakeholders.

• Champion agile methodologies and best practices for program management.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in program management tools and methodologies.

• Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in technical program management or a related field

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experienced in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum)

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Aha).

• Familiarity to Data Science and MLOPs concepts is a plus.
