Emerson Senior or Lead Firmware Developer in PUNE, India

Job Summary

If you are a ‘Firmware Developer’ looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Pune, India location, you will perform full firmware/application development lifecycle activities which includes requirement analysis to code implementation and testing for real time products such as RTU and Flow computers as part of Scrum team member. Suitable candidates are capable who can take ownership and deliver from one line requirement to solution. You’ll be employed for Emerson Innovation Centre, Pune (EICP)

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Secure Firmware development as part of Scrum team

  • Participate in all Scrum Events

  • Contribute for all development activities such as requirement analysis, design, work product reviews, unit testing and testing to achieve sprint goals or play any other responsibilities which Scrum team needs.

  • Represent team as and when needed in global meetings.

  • Adhere to local and international Emerson principles, practices, and procedures.

Who You are:

You will quickly and decisively takes action in fast-changing, unpredictable situations and Actively seeks input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions and Delivers messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelors in Electronics/Computers/Electricals/Instrumentation with good score from reputed colleges

  • Minimum 6 years of Experience in Embedded Domain including bare metal as well as RTOS based systems. At least 2 years of Experience with C++ Skilled in software development, preferably within an industrial computing environment

  • Proficient in OOAD, Good SW design skills using real time concept and data structures.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of industry communication protocols, PLC, RTU, Transmitters, Sensors etc. will be advantage

  • Detail Knowledge and experience of Secure Development.

  • Innovative, Capable to Deep Dive & Think Customer

  • Capable to develop solution from Single line of requirement.

  • Be action oriented and full of energy for the things they see as challenging.

  • Have the functional, technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.

  • Use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; can see hidden problems; looks beyond the obvious and doesn’t stop at first answers.

  • Take ownership of own activity and provide work output in timely manner without compromise on quality.
