What you will do

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end learning and development projects within the India Learning & Development team of the organization. The individual in this role will identify and respond to business opportunities with solution, effort/price estimation, and phase-wise delivery plan. The Project Manager will drive innovation and develop capabilities around the creation of innovative learning solutions for business, to provide a tangible, positive impact on the business results.

To be successful in this role you will need to understand the stakeholder and business goals, ask the right questions. The individual needs to become dependable and trusted to the business partners across JCI teams. The individual needs to be proactive and identify long-term strategies that would benefit the team overall. The individual needs to be self-driven and seek opportunities of process improvements.

How you will do it

  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to –

Initiate project and identify project scope, problem statement, objectives, impact and deliverables.

  • Conduct thorough needs analysis with the team to determine the most effective learning methodologies and technologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (instructional designers, projects lead, graphics designers, developers, etc.) and manage end-to-end delivery of learning projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices of both L&D and project management.

  • Allocate and manage project resources, including budget, effort, team members, and external vendors.

  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, conduct stand up meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, direction, and support throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing.

  • Mentor and coach team members, and drive culture of innovation, creativity and forward-thinking .

  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise for successful project outcomes.

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project charters, project plans, risk assessments, and stakeholder communication plans.

  • Generate regular project status reports, highlighting key accomplishments, risks, and issues. Analyze the data from the project reports and identify improvements at a team/organizational level.

  • Drive post-project evaluations to assess the effectiveness of learning solutions and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Build and manage stakeholder relationship and communicate project updates, progress, and outcomes effectively. Interact with stakeholders daily and identify upcoming projects.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in L&D, and with in-depth knowledge of minimum one business line.

  • Excels in providing clear, constructive feedback to team members, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

  • Possesses extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with PowerBI, including data modeling, visualization, and report generation.

  • Proficient in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.

  • Expert in prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Highly adaptable to changing project requirements and environments, ensuring project continuity and success.

  • Encourages a problem-solving mindset within the team to address challenges proactively.

  • Balances short-term needs with long-term goals to achieve the best outcomes for the project.

What we look for

  • Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, human resources, learning and development, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.

  • 10+ years of project management experience in e-Learning domain is preferred, Change Management experience and/or project management certification is a plus.

  • Skill

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and budget tracking.

  • Strong knowledge of learning and development strategies, tools, and methodologies.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent reporting and presentation skill to showcase projects at all business level.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and to collaborate with the leaderships.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong visualization skills in PowerPoint, Excel and PowerBi

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to drive innovation and forward thinking in challenging situations.
