About LOB-

“ORMB” Consulting – Oracle Revenue and Management Billing. Consulting group is supporting and making its customer successful in implementing Pricing and Billing engine for revenue management. Oracle’s ORMB consulting group covers customers across the Globe in various line of businesses like Banking, insurance and healthcare. We are in process of expanding our footprint winning more deals/logos.

Role Overview: As a Senior ORMB QA Engineer candidate will be responsible for

  • Understand pricing and Billing business requirements

  • Participate in documenting requirement discussion, ORMB solution discussion.

  • Writing Test strategy, Test plan, Test scenarios

  • Implement the Test plan for Integration unit testing, System integration testing and User acceptance testing

  • Parallel run planning and execution

  • Provide User trainings to customer-----------------------------------------------------------s business users/testing team.

  • Creating test data for automation tool.

Required Skills Set: Candidate should have 8+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual and Automation)

  • Minimum 4 years of testing experience in ORMB

  • Solid understanding of ORMB configuration setup like pricing eligibility criteria, Pricing setup (multi parameter pricing, repricing, multi-dimensional pricing ,price assignment ), TFM Rules , Rate schedule , Account & Customer management

  • Solid understanding of Billing concepts and process like invoice construct, on demand billing, Trial billing, Multi currency accounts, Subscription billing process , Accrual process

  • Should have solid experience in SQL/PL-SQL, Rest Services and API testing

  • Should have solid experience in web Based Front end & backend testing.

  • Preferred solid experience in using any Automating tool for ORMB testing

  • Should know about Designing and Implementing the automation scripts using

  • Should have good Knowledge on Agile methodologies including agile ceremonies (SCRUM, Sprint planning, Backlog grooming and retrospective).

  • Should have superb communication and presentation skills and can stretch.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Understand the requirements quickly, architect and design test strategies, provide effort estimations as inputs to SOWs using best QA practices, peer review and take it all the way to production releases while collaborating with development engineers, collaborators and the build/release team.

  • Use of collaborative tools like Confluence wiki, JIRA

  • Participate in problem solving and providing RCA with business tester, ORMB product team

  • Provide assistance to ORMB solution architect in business configuration in ORMB

  • Provide assistance to customer for creating SR with product team with proper analysis. Co-ordination with product team, managed services team for release management, Patch deployment.

  • Support in stabilizing production billing runs.

  • Lead the Parallel run execution where legacy system or old ORMB version results will compared with latest ORMB version.

  • Lead the scope, testing, configuration discussion with customer’s team, partner team

  • Plan and Conduct the internal trainings, Train the training session.

  • Participate and Lead internal initiative for creating consulting accelerators, re-usable assets, configurations.

  • Work with product team to explain functional gaps.

  • Provide test requirements and recommendations for product quality and testability.
