What you’ll do:

"Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a System Architect for Supply Chain Planning/Kinaxis RapidResponse - Demand Planning & Supply Planning in Materials Management to join our Information Technology team.

This position is responsible for maximizing the value of Materials Management offering by ensuring Supply Chain/Kinaxis RapidResponse solutions under development/implementation are fit for purpose and support current and future business needs.

The System Architect will define and communicate a shared architectural vision for Kinaxis/RapidResponse. The individual in this role will work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to deliver Kinaxis/RapidResponse solutions that are aligned to the broader enterprise architecture guardrails

As a subject matter expertise lead within Eaton's Information Technology function, this position will collaborate with business stakeholders, agile teams to consider solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on a solution

The System Architect leads technical discussions within an IT team, aligns with Enterprise Architects on corporate technology strategy and direction and creates architecture diagrams that show the building blocks of a system.

The System Architect works directly with business stakeholders, product owner, analysts, engineers and other product team members to support the product roadmap, guide the product development lifecycle, define use stories, and provide voice of the customer within Kinaxis/RapidResponse processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Eight to Ten(8-10) years of experience in IT SCM_Materials Management(techno functional) lead delivering projects in supply chain management, with focus in supply planning and demand management functions of a business.

  • Led/managed two to three full lifecycle Kinaxis supply chain planning implementations in large and complex environments.

  • At least five to eight (5-8 years) of experience as a developer/author, system/solution architect, engineer or a functional lead on moderate to highly complex projects implementing supply chain planning and execution projects and programs preferably in Demand Planning and Supply Planning functions using Kinaxis/RapidResponse platform."

Skills:

  • Demonstrable understanding of Kinaxis software solution that fulfils business needs and meets architectural standards

  • Preferred Kinaxis Certifications ( Authoring Level II, Integration Level I, Analytics level II, Admin Level II)

  • Practical knowledge of and experience working within agile scrum and/or Kanban delivery teams.

  • Deep understanding of the Kinaxis Data model and Inbound/Outbound data integration options and best practices.

  • General understanding of DevSecOps principles

  • Familiarity with modern technology architecture principles including APIs, microservices, and cloud services.

  • Strong understanding of Materials Management (Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Optimization) and Digitally Connected Supply Chains

  • Deep understanding of the supply chain processes and applications within Industry.

  • Advanced to Expert understanding of integration and impact points (boundary systems) of involved systems globally;

  • Advanced understanding of one of the ERP's(SAP ECC, S4, Oracle R12)"
