Eaton Corporation Global Road Operations Analyst in Pune, India

What you’ll do:

Work as a key member of the GSC COE Logistics: Logistics Analyst, Road Operations would be responsible to work closely with regional and business Logistics Managers & Global Road Procurement team on identifying, executing & leading Operational Efficiency projects or initiatives. Manage implementation of RFQs. Establish & execute standard reporting to capture measurement metrics, KPI.

This role will work closely with Logistics Road Procurement team and Logistics managers across all regions and all businesses within Eaton. Support programs such as Mode Management, Sustainability and Spend reporting and also to develop, retain business requirements, standardize process and ensure a coherent Global Distribution and Logistics Network.

• Manage implementation of RFQs conducted by Global Procurement team to ensure compliance and consequently forecasted savings and services are archived

• Work closely with Businesses Logistics managers & Global Procurement team on identifying, executing & leading Operational Efficiency projects or initiatives

• Prepare insights and propose solutions to facilitate right decisions, driving synergies and benchmarking inputs

• Execute & lead projects assigned to Operations team through IDEAS program

• Regular 4UP updates on projects

• Accountable and responsible for maintaining and monitoring Costverse projects

• Establish & execute standard reporting for Compliance; Performance scorecards; Opportunity Metrics; etc.

• Align with Global Logistics teams in various Eaton locations and support standardization of processes, and drive process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with about 5-8 Yrs. Experience in Global Road Logistics domain

• Preferred SCM qualifications from accredited institute

Skills:

• Preferred experience SSC environment

• Good Collaborative style, managing various Global stakeholders at senior levels

• Good exposure in Global Logistics and Good understanding of logistics factors

• Experience in global working, managing projects across continents

• Able to gather data from multiple systems and assimilate bigger data set

• Understand linkages of data across different data set to create meaningful interpretations

• Able to anticipate logistics issues and proactively work for their resolution

• Have a good understanding of logistics cost factors and Global supplier base
