Citigroup Fund setup, Expenses and Migration Junior Developer C09 in Pune, India

The role is within the FA Global Migrations Team. The primary responsibility of the team is to onboard large volumes of funds from third party administrators to Citi’s Fund Accounting platforms

The team works with stakeholders from our Clients and across the Citi business world, including Fund Accounting, Middle Office, Change Delivery, and Product, to ensure that the speed and quality of implementation delivery is continually improving.

Responsibilities:

  • Flexibility to work in shifts and 5 days a week including weekends, with 2 days as weekly offs.

  • Analysis of Business and Project requirements

  • Engagement and interaction with Development partners and technology teams

  • Support the maintenance and users of the In-House Migration Tool - YODA

  • Support management of development workslate

  • Responsible for ensuring “best practices” are followed during the Design, Build and implementation of any EUCs or applications

  • Responsible for input into issue resolution as required

  • Ensure suitable documentation produced to a high standard, as required on all assigned pieces of work to support delivery and ensure a complete audit trail

  • Communicating risks and issues to the Lead Developer & Project Managers in a timely manner

  • Participation in meetings as defined by Project managers

Knowledge/ experience:

  • Experience of EUC Development in Excel & Access with VBA, object-oriented programming, and relational database design

  • Able to identify what minimum controls should be in place to ensure integrity and completeness of all developments/EUCs

  • Experience of using Multifonds, InvestOne, Xceptor, CEDM and other core Citi systems

  • Strong analytical & numerical skills

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight timescales

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently

  • Understand key EUC control frameworks and processes

Education:

  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent calibre

  • Professional industry Qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential

  • Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience

Skills:

  • MS Excel, MS Access, VBA, SQL

  • Change focused

  • Pragmatism combined with a can-do attitude is a pre-requisite.
