Enterprise Operations Engineer I, IT Asset Management

Overview

• To support Mastercard IT Asset Management (ITAM) function armed with new tooling, a revised organisational and service design and set of requirements for its next phase of evolution.

• ITAM involves the automated discovery, tracking and reporting of Mastercard critical IT assets, including hardware (e.g. Laptops) and software (e.g., licenses and applications). This information is crucial for effective IT service management and Security and supports decision-making processes. Asset and platform owners are responsible for ensuring their asset information is accurate within Flexera/Remedy. The ITAM team is responsible for asset governance, oversight, and reporting of hardware and software assets to ensure teams are adhering to ITAM procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support Hardware Asset reporting, gap analysis and resolution if issues working with stakeholders across ITAM, O&T & Security.

• Support ISO27001, ISAE3000 & external vendor audits.

• Oversight of PO Reconciliation processes in support of Hardware & Software Lifecycle Management including EOL/EOS reporting supporting business portfolio management.

• Provide SME ITAM knowledge to support Lead Asset Analyst manage audit engagements for external customer audits.

• Own and manage vendor/reseller relationships for appropriate Hardware & Software products.

• Provide governance and enforce methodology compliance surrounding IT Asset Management.

• Manage IT Asset Management tools, provide Hardware & Software Asset Management expertise and provide peer review/technical coaching for junior team members.

• Assists with the development of enterprise-wide IT Asset Management administration standards and procedures.

• Maintain accurate tracking of all data points and related reporting.

• Manage business meetings and reviews ensuring appropriate documentation is provided / established and retained.

• Maintain functional documentation and refreshes within the established cadence.

• 1st Line risk mitigation and remediation, working with Business Support Risk Champion to track and manage within the Business Support risk register.

Experiences

• Advanced knowledge and 2 to 5 years of experience in Asset Management methodology.

• Experience of supporting and driving ITAM strategies.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to identify and implement best practice IT Asset Management practices in-line with ISO 27001, ISO19770-1 & ITIL4

• Ability to organize, manage and work effectively to accomplish multiple high priority tasks.

• Experience with BMC Remedy/Flexera or similar tools.

• Experience with Flexera Flexnet Manager Suite/Data Platform or similar tools.

• Ability to analyse large data sets from multiple sources and present back in a meaningful format.

• Problem Solving capabilities with ability to manage several issues simultaneously.
