You’ll break new ground by:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Architect to join our Cloud DevOps team spread globally. We have a global Cloud DevOps organization, and the person is expected to lead multiple DevOps topics technically and provide highly efficient and scalable solutions. The person is also expected to lead and execute different cloud migration projects ensuring smooth and efficient transition of our applications and infrastructure from on-premises to cloud. You will leverage your expertise in DevOps principles and cloud technologies to design, build, and automate cloud-based solutions, while fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.

  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organizations to understand their Cloud DevOps needs and translate it to robust cloud architecture.

  • Evaluate and select optimal cloud providers and services based on performance, security, and cost considerations.

  • Design and architect secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.

  • Develop and implement cloud migration strategies, roadmaps, and timelines.

  • Design the infrastructure architecture on Cloud considering the best practices and security principles.

  • Design, build, and automate CI/CD pipelines for efficient cloud deployments.

  • Migrate applications and infrastructure to the cloud, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition.

  • Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to provision and manage cloud resources.

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition to the cloud.

  • Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the cloud migration process.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

  • Document cloud migration processes and architecture designs for knowledge sharing.

  • Conduct knowledge sharing sessions for the DevOps teams to focus on strengthening the team technically.

  • Create best practices and principles for migrating to AWS and Azure Cloud.

  • Be a go to person to resolve any technical issue in the DevOps topic.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and DevOps trends.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including :

  • 12+ years’ experience in IT and systems specialist.

  • Qualified B.E / BTech / MCA or equivalent from reputed institute.

  • Proven multitasking ability to work both independently as well as in a team setting.

  • Experience in dealing with foreign/European customers/people.

  • Self-motivated to complete team and individual tasks.

  • Experience in coordinating activities.

  • Driving things on his own.

  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving and planning.

  • Strong attention to detail, proactively driving assignments and tracking tasks.

  • Creative thinking and innovation skills to define new approaches to issues.

  • You should have experience of working with offshore / global teams.

  • You should be willing to learn and adapt new technologies.

  • Proven experience working with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure).

  • Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts (IP addressing, routing, firewalls, VPNs, etc.).

  • Knowledge of different cloud storage options (object storage, block storage, file storage).

  • Understanding of different compute service options (VMs, containers, serverless).

  • Ability to design, implement / configure cloud network, storage options and compute services from scratch.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible) along with ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable IaC code.

  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating cloud tasks.

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for building and deploying containerized applications.

  • In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
