Automation QA Engineer - Ranorex

Onit - R&D, Pune, Maharashtra

As a Sr. QA Engineer you will:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate effective ways to automate the tests for our web applications.

  • Develop further software based automated tests using an automation framework.

  • Perform all manual and automated test levels (unit, integration, and regression) in close collaboration with our developers.

  • Work closely with our Development and Product Management team throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Be involved in the introduction of new technologies.

    Role and responsibilities:

  • 4-7+ years of experience in quality assurance.

  • As a senior test automation engineer, you have already gained several years of in-depth professional experience in software quality assurance.

  • As an experienced tester, you have know-how in quality assurance and used various test environments at all levels, furthermore ideally an ISTQB certification.

  • In writing clear, precise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases, your high-quality standards become visible.

  • Experienced with tools such as Ranorex, Selenium, Jira, Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, C# or Java.

  • Sound knowledge of automation frameworks.

  • Experience with testing in Git CI.

  • Cope up with fast context switching.

  • Review functional and Design requirements to ensure full understanding to enable the development of good test scenarios.

  • Identify defects and impact on the solutions.

  • Deliver high-quality software that matches technical requirements in a timeframe that matches business needs.

  • Collaborate well with onshore and offshore teams.

  • Follow process by adhering to documented methodology. Provide good and clear test cases, with traceability to requirements and defects.

    Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
