Eaton Corporation Associate Engineer - Technical Support in Pune, India

What you’ll do:

The primary function of the incumbent is to provide technical support for Low Voltage Power Distribution Products, including residential products (load centers, breakers, group metering and generators), dry type transformers, switching devices (safety switches, rotary switches), molded case breakers, miniature breakers and select alternative energy related products. The position would include assisting customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and application assistance received via email and chat.

  • Responsible for answering customer emails within TAT

  • Responsible for handling Cross reference request from customers

  • Provide pre-sale support like product selection, product configuration, budgetary quotes

  • Maintain and expand product knowledge base available to all internal and external teams

  • Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.

  • Use Enterprise wide tools ,SharePoint, Share drive etc. to address customer concerns

  • Maintain high level of customer satisfaction by his own work by keeping NPS/CES up to the mark.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Engineering (Electrical).

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Switchgear Industry

Skills:

  • Good understanding of technical aspects of Distribution Components and its related applications

  • Fair problem solving and troubleshooting skills and be able to understand and resolve customer Tier-1 issues

  • Should be able to interpret customer specifications, drawings and schematics

  • Problem solving, and product troubleshooting skills

  • Basic excel knowledge would be added advantage

  • Basic understanding of ERP, PLM, CRM, and other enterprise-wide tools would be added advantage"

  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-Motivated to identify and prioritize assigned work

  • Strong technical and analytical skills.

  • Abilities within Adobe and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Good written communication and verbal communication
