Are you an experienced Manual Machinist with a passion for precision machining? Are you skilled in operating both lathe and mill machines, turning raw materials into finely crafted components? Responsibilities

  • Record all data necessary to produce expected service or design results, including sizing and illustrations.

  • Use measuring devices and techniques correctly to assure proper sizing.

  • Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, and conventional milling and lathe work.

  • Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment.

  • Perform various metalizing techniques as needed.

  • Understand materials and applications as required.

  • Perform various welding operations, including setup and use of MIG, TIG, torch and stick welders.

  • Set up and perform tool post grinding operations, broaching procedures, and some Babbitt bearing work.

  • Observe all safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • working in a smoke free environment

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • working in a non-temperature controlled environment

  • standing for 8 hours at one time

  • working up to 6 hrs of overtime per week
