Job Description: As a Laborer, you will be an essential part of our production team, responsible for assisting in various aspects of our galvanizing process. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Material Handling: Transporting materials to and from work areas using forklifts, cranes, or other equipment.
  2. Preparation: Cleaning and preparing surfaces of steel products for the galvanizing process, including sandblasting, degreasing, and masking.
  3. Galvanizing Process: Assisting in the immersion of steel products into the molten zinc bath, ensuring proper coating and adherence.
  4. Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for defects and imperfections, making adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards.
  5. Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
  6. Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  7. Teamwork: Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
