General Responsibilities

The Merchant Solutions Lead provides direction to ensure the Merchant Sales Unit achieves its goals, and the customers receive satisfactory service promptly, within organizational policies and regulations. Coordinate the sales and operational activities of the unit and ensure efficient processes are structured. Directly supervises the employees and motivates them to meet established goals and maintain an optimal work environment. Interact with customers when needed.

Responsabilities:

•Monitor processes and other: Monitor periodically the sales numbers to achieve each month's goals. Oversee the team activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
•Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards: Verify contracts or addendums and all documentation submitted by the employees to determine they are satisfactorily filled and in compliance with audit requirements. Ensure execution and compliance with control procedures related to their respective job responsibilities according to approved limits and delegation of authority. Communicate to appropriate channels any situation that could result in non-compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
•Communicate with people outside the organization: Provide customer service as part of the escalation process. Attend meetings with specific potential customers to assess their needs and offer the products and services available.
•Coach and Develop Others: Assess the team's training needs. Train or facilitate the necessary trainings to develop their functional competencies, including sales skills.
•Sell or Influence Others: Sell the payment processing products and services available for merchants.
•Resolve Conflicts and Negotiate with Others: Negotiate contracts with existent and specific potential customers. Manage conflicts related to the gap between the service provided and the customer's expectations, as part of the escalation process.
 

 

Performs duties through methods and actions that are consistently ethical and in total compliance with the laws, applicable regulations, Code of Ethics, corporate policies and guidelines and rules of conduct. Completes corporate trainings and certifications intended for the detection and prevention of money laundering related activities and fraud, insider training and conflict of interest policies and procedures, as applicable.

 

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Business Administration, Marketing or related.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience in sales, and some expertise in coordinating/managing projects and teams.
• At least one (1) year of leadership experience is strongly preferred.
 

 

Knowledge and Skills Required

• Great interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Office 365, (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Oral Communication (Spanish and English): demonstrate group presentation skills.
•Written Communication (Spanish and English): edit work for spelling and grammar; present numerical data effectively.
• Technology or Banking experience is strongly preferred.
• Driver's License is required.
 

 

Additional Information

Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00pm 

Available to work extended hours, weekends and/or holidays as needed and the availability to travel as required supporting projects in the region.
