The City of Pueblo wants you to join our team as the Outdoor Recreation Administrator! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment, with great benefits, and a competitive salary range of \$66,907.92 - \$81,692.88 annually. This is an FLSA-exempt position under the general supervision of the Director and/or the Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation. The Outdoor Recreation Administrator is responsible for the organization and promotion of outdoor programs, new events, and outdoor recreational activities in the community and region. This is a grant funded position in which said grant requires incumbent to generate measurable revenue to the City that will match expenses in the form of new taxes collected, activity fees, venue rental fees, licenses and permits, leverage grants, and sponsorships. As a revenue generating contingent position, the Outdoor Recreation Administrator will be responsible for annual goal setting to justify potential General Fund allocation. As the Outdoor Recreation Administrator, you will make independent decisions for the direction of a functional area within the guidelines set by management. You must also work collaboratively with other City staff and departments, various institutions, agencies, interest groups and partners.
