LG HIRES Certified Nutritionist in PROVO, Utah

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Nutrition Services professional. As a Nutrition Services team member, you will play a crucial role in providing quality nutrition care to our patients. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage and supervise a team, and a deep understanding of patient assessment and physiology knowledge.

 

Monday - Friday 7am-5pm

Paid Weekly $24-26/hr DOE

 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients based on their nutritional needs

  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' nutritional status

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper nutrition management for patients

  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families

  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress towards their nutritional goals

  • Assist in budgeting and managing resources for the Nutrition Services department

  • Supervise and train staff members in proper nutrition practices

     

Requirements are:

The Nutrition Services Director must be a graduate of an approved dietary manager's course and hold a certificate as a Certified Dietary

 

Manager (CDM) or state-recognized equivalent. If not a graduate, the employee must be presently enrolled in a dietary manger course or be enrolled within four months of the next approved dietary manger course. If an employee has not been certified by the Associate of Nutrition and

 

Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) but has completed a dietary manager's course, or who has allowed their certification to lapse will qualify to have the job title of Dietary Manager. An employee who is uncertified but currently enrolled in a dietary manager course or is to be enrolled during the next session, will carry the job title of Dietary Supervisor.
