SMX is seeking a highly motived Project Analyst to join our team to provide support to multiple projects on the MARLINS contract. You will join a team of highly driven, supportive, and skilled professionals engaged in multiple areas of project support.

This position requires the ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts. Essential Duties & Responsibilities.

• Provide support to PMs in all facets of job, to include technical work and administrative management

• Communicate effectively with entire team and work in a collaborative environment

• Work with PMs to develop budgets, estimate at completions, and additional documentation throughout life cycles of options and projects

• Draft and work with PM to implement documentation for subcontractors including statements of work and deliverable requirements

• Assist PM to ensure deliverables are completed and submitted on time and in accordance with contractual requirements

• Work with PM to draft, submit, and track all procurements and travel documents through process including Requests to Initiate Purchase (RIPs); Travel Authorization Requests (TARs); Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Change Requests (PCRs)

Required Skills/Experience

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

• Familiarity with reviewing and editing technical documentation

• Must be highly organized with the ability to balance multiple tasks with competing priority levels in support of Project Managers

• Excellent written/verbal communication skills

• Possess excellent data management, problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance

• 3+ years of project support in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work independently and show initiative

Desired Skills/Experience

• Associate’s degree or higher in business or other technical related fields

• DoD secret security clearance
