Description

Job Title: Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Providence, RI (onsite 2 days per week)

Job Type: Full Time

Job Level: Mid-Senior

Our firm is in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, employees will be expected to have broad knowledge concerning software development, with particular expertise in automation testing and development environments. Consistent performance and the ability to work collaboratively with a team and transform user requirements into a reliable product are fundamental for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development teams to define, design, and implement automation test strategy and frameworks.

  • Automated testing of various desktop and web applications.

  • Identify, resolve, and track all reported bugs.

  • Improve and maintain test environments, test data, and ensure repeatability for all project aspects.

  • Assisting with integrating automation methodologies within QA methodologies.

  • Analyze test results and provide regular status reports to the management team.

  • Collaborate effectively with software engineers to identify and fix technical issues.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering or a related field.

  • Sound knowledge of C#, Selenium, and other relevant testing tools.

  • Experience creating test plans, writing automated scripts for functional and regression testing.

  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team or independently as needed.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases, with ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

  • Prior work experience in AGILE or SCRUM methodologies.

In this role, you will be expected to come into the office in Providence, RI for at least 2 days a week. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, capable of handling complex tasks, and possess a keen eye for detail.
