Robert Half Systems Analyst in Prosper, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Systems Analyst based in Prosper, Texas. This role is crucial to our team, focusing on conducting data analysis, creating impactful products, and maintaining our Data and GIS systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in database management, SQL scripting, and ArcGIS Pro, amongst other skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct data gathering and analysis to create products that support intelligent decision-making.

• Utilize ArcGIS Pro, SQL scripting, SQL Server, and other server ArcGIS products, with an emphasis on customization and database integration.

• Monitor and maintain Data and GIS systems, ArcGIS Online (AGO), ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal), and other configurable applications.

• Generate web map services specific to business solutions, ensuring service requirements are met.

• Regularly process, convert, and load data, including geospatial data, vector, and raster datasets for distributed access.

• Provide application support for web maps, dashboards, and analytic solutions, which may include issue resolution, training, and issue escalation.

• Integrate information from Construction and As Built Plans provided by surveyors and engineers into systems.

• Configure and use apps for field data collection with different GPS equipment.

• Provide training to staff regarding the use of GIS applications and software, data security, and data management.

• Automate tasks using Python code, SQL queries, SQL Spatial Views, and data models to establish automation and/or integration with business applications.

• Maintain familiarity with line-of-business software used and supported by the organization and provide integrations as needed. Requirements • Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role in IT.

• Proficiency in database management and DB2 database specifically.

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems.

• Knowledge and experience with IBM and Microsoft technologies.

• Experience with AB Testing methodologies.

• Ability to create and manage Business Requirement Documents.

• Understanding of computer hardware and its configuration.

• Experience in configuration management.

• Familiarity with deployment processes and methodologies.

• Experience with Tyler Technologies Munis is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively.
