As a Sr. Quality Control GC Technician, you will assure that products are of consistent quality by performing wet chemistry testing, and GC, GC/MS analysis of Raw Materials and Finished Products in support of Taste, Texture and Health division. Additionally, you will be assisting Quality Assurance in OOS investigations and communicate results to internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyze raw material, in-process, and finished product samples via GC and GC/MS according to established SOP’s. Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on GC and GC/MS.

  • Provides Sensory Support in both preparation and evaluation of ingredients and finished products.

  • Follows all Lab and Site safety and GMP rules. Maintains work area in a neat and organized manner and completes all paperwork correctly.

  • Ensure instrument calibrations are within tolerances and recalibrate as needed.

  • Interprets gas chromatography spectra

    You bring

  • B.S. degree in Chemistry, Food science, or related scientific field.

  • 3-5 years hands-on industry GC, GC/MS experience.

  • Experience in a flavor / food manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Experience with MS Office: Word, Excel and standard MS office software is required.

  • LIMS and SAP experience preferred
