System One QC Chemist in Princeton, New Jersey

Title: Quality Control Chemist

Location: Princeton, NJ

Duration: Contract to Hire

Schedule: M-F Full Time, occasional OT

Target Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts qualitative and quantitative assessments to monitor product and process quality

  • Reviews and tests components, raw materials and finished products to ensure that such items meet company quality and safety standards

  • Prepares documents that report the results of laboratory work

  • Responsible for maintaining laboratory instruments and minor equipment troubleshooting and repair

  • Conducts analyses of research projects, interprets test results, and may develop nonstandard tests

  • Revises and/or creates new test methods and material specifications that conform to company policies

  • Other duties as needed

    Requirements:

  • BS/MS w/ 0- 2+ years’ experience testing and analyzing raw materials and finished products using techniques such as HPLC and GC

  • Knowledge of quality concepts and previous experience in cGMP regulated environment preferred

  • Documentation experience (Writing SOP’s, etc.) preferred

  • Desired additional knowledge: General Wet Chemistry techniques, UV-Vis, Nitrogen Porosimetry and Method Development/Validation
