Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic individual to join our team as Lead Associate Marketing Rx (Prescription) to help develop and execute marketing and product management strategies for assigned in-line generic prescription products, drive business growth, maximize product performance, and achieve revenue, profit and market share goals. This position will have meaningful impact on the business performance of North America Generics.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for developing marketing strategy, analyzing external environment, market trends, and customer behavior to produce forecasts for new and existing products, and provide inputs to Supply Chain for supply planning.

  • You will be responsible for leading product growth program development with the sales team to drive business growth and achieve revenue, profit and market share target for the assigned portfolio.

  • You will be responsible for driving product management for assigned products post launch, tracking product sales performance, forecasting demand, allocating inventory and ensuring adjustment of production and pricing accordingly.

  • You will be responsible for conducting secondary research on products, customers and competitors, therapeutic risks and opportunities, monitoring FDA (Food and Drug Administration), industry, product and competitor development, and generating data-based reports for decisions on product management and new product selection.

  • You will be responsible for reviewing product pricing vs. market pricing and recent price changes for assigned products.

  • You will be responsible for adjusting product prices as required and working with various groups to review and agree on new prices to ensure viable and profitable pricing of assigned Rx products.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred

Minimum work experience: 4+ years of pharmaceutical experience in product management and business analytics

Skills & attributes:

  • Understanding of generic pharmaceutical market dynamics, contracts, customers and pricing.

  • Good computer (MS Office Suite), analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), organization and interpersonal skills.

  • Decision making and negotiation skills.
