Description: The Department of Molecular Biology may have occasional openings for full and part-time lecturers in the areas of molecular biology, cell biology, neurobiology, biochemistry, neuroscience, and genetics during the 2024-25 academic year. Individuals should possess a Ph.D. in molecular biology or a related field and have experience with teaching at the undergraduate level. Any successful candidate will attend weekly lectures, be present during lab, lead weekly discussions, hold regular office hours, meet with the course instructor(s), and assist in exam writing and grading as it applies to the course being taught. Appointment duty time will depend on student enrollment. Princeton University is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of our academic community. Applicants must submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and contact information for three references. All materials must be submitted as PDF files. Molecular Biology is the core of Life Sciences. In your cover letter, you must indicate your expertise and/or area of interest i.e. genomics, proteomics, cancer biology, developmental biology, neurobiology, and microbiology. Essential Qualifications A Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or a related field is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching at the undergraduate level is strongly preferred.
