The Opportunity

CyberTheory’s Sales division is the heartbeat of the organization as the work this team does is essential for our continued growth and success. As an Account Executive, you will serve as a strategic advisor to new and existing customers, working to understand their unique marketing needs and positioning our portfolio of solution offerings accordingly.  

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying & acquiring new business while maintaining consultative relationships with existing clients. In order to meet projected revenue goals, you’ll consistently analyze the market & your assigned territory to identify gaps & strategize on creative ways to persist & perform.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing a high level understanding of CyberTheory’s offerings & a strong base level knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape to elevate prospecting communication with clients.  

  • Identifying & acquiring new clients through diligent & targeted outreach via cold-call, email, & networking tactics. 

  • Establishing, developing, & maintaining positive business relationships with clients.  

  • Achieving agreed upon sales targets & performance outcomes within schedule. 

  • Implementing & executing CyberTheory’s integrated sale cycle which includes: 

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation 

  • Sales Development & Lead Nurturing Campaigns

  • Business Qualification – Conducting Discovery Sessions & Needs Analysis 

  • Solution Presentation 

  • Quoting, Pricing, & Negotiation 

  • Closing & Post-Sale Support 

    What you’ll bring for success

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s (preferred) in related fields

  • 3 to 5 years of B2B Enterprise Professional Sales experience, ideally within a Marketing Agency capacity

  • Experience targeting executive decision makers within Agency, Media, Marketing, Branding, or Research/Content divisions 

  • Formal training in one of the following Sales methodologies (or another formal process): MEDDIC, Value Selling, Challenger Selling, Sandler 

  • Strong relationship building skills & ability to establish productive professional business relationships 

  • Familiarity with Salesforce & CRM practices 

  • Ability to create & deliver high level presentations tailored to audience needs 

  • Outstanding time management, prioritizing, & organizational skills 

  • Willingness to learn & apply feedback to improve performance 

  • A solution-oriented & results-driven mindset with a desire to make a true impact 

    Additional Details

  • Start Date: ASAP 

  • Office Locations: Princeton, NJ & Manhattan, NYC

  • We’re in office Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

  • Compensation: Base Salary + Commission  

  • Base salary range of $75,000-$95,000

  • Exact compensation to vary based on skills, experience, and location
