Candidates considered for this opportunity must be located within a 2-hour commuting distance from our Princeton, MN facility. Classification: Exempt Department: Information Technology Reports To: IT Director Summary: This position is responsible for developing, creating, maintaining, and modifying computer applications and specialized programs within the Oracle eBusiness Suite and supporting applications. The Mid-Senior Oracle Applications Developer analyzes and designs applications and programs, working individually and coordinating application development as part of a team to contribute to meeting the Company s mission of developing and marketing high-quality brands, and running best-in-class operations. Essential Functions: Completes approved development project requests following the procedures documented for application changes. The procedures include requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, and support tasks. Designs and develops technical solutions for Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS), Oracle Application Express (APEX), and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) that meet business requirements and provides recommendations on the nature, scope, and complexity of solutions. Verifies feasibility of business user s request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data model. Provides technical specifications and documentation, unit test plans and installation plans for new systems or enhancements. Provides Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) system administration support for all business departments as needed (password changes, configuration changes, adding capabilities, etc.). Collaborates with Oracle Support to resolve production issues within Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). Coordinates with team members to work on solutions and performs design/code reviews. Develops file and database structures, interfaces between internal and external systems. Effectively trains business users on changes made through project requests. Assists in coordinating software system patches and monitors performance of installed reports, etc. Provides daytime and on-call support as needed. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Must have knowledge of creating/modifying PL SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions within an Oracle relational database structure. Must have knowledge of Oracle eBusiness applicatio s (EBS) used in a manufacturing environment and how to administer them. Must have knowledge of creating/modifying Oracle APEX (Application Express) applications. Must have knowledge of creating/modifying Oracle Applications Cloud analysis, dashboards, and data visualizations. Must have knowledge of creating/modifying Oracle XML/RDF report types and Oracle APIs. Must have knowledge of creating/modifying processes to export and/or load data into or out of Oracle eBusiness Suite or Oracle Analytics Cloud with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse. Must have strong knowledge of the software development process (analysis, design, coding, testing, packaging, maintenance). Must be proficient with software library control and editing products. Required Education & Experience: Must have the ability to maintain current knowledge, skills and/or certifications relevant to assigned job responsibilities. 4-year degree in computer programming, computer science or similar degree program. 4 + years of experience programing in one or more of the following languages: PL SQL, JAVA, C++, Python, or C#. 4+ years of experience demonstrating Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills, including Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, and SQL. Experience using Oracle e-Business Suite R12, specifically Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, and Process Manufacturing modules and XML publisher. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Work Location & Travel Required: The Mid-Senior Oracle Applications Developer works a hybrid, primarily remote work schedule, reporting to the Princeton or St. Paul location as needed. Minimal travel required (<5%). Work Environment & Physical Demands: Work is performed primarily in an office setting (home office or company site). This position requires the ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time, including the dexterity to frequently type on a keyboard.
