Join the Phillips team today and enjoy being in good spirits every day! This position involves working Monday - Thursday, from 4:00pm - 2:00am. The Label Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all labeler equipment. Primary responsibilities include setting up, operating and monitoring all labeler equipment. This position works closely with other team members to keep the line running efficiently while producing high-quality products. Other responsibilities include monitoring supply levels, inspecting products for defects, completing appropriate documentation, as well as completing cleaning and light maintenance duties. The Label Operator will assist on other areas of the line as needed and may also assist the Line Lead in directing the work of other team members. All team members are required to perform their job responsibilities in a safe and conscious manner. Contributing to and supporting an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement is also required. This position requires the ability to read and write English, basic math skills, the ability to use a computer and correspond effectively via email. Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability are also required. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with labeler equipment or have other manufacturing experience involving operating equipment. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Candidates offered employment will be required to submit to a background check, drug test and physical ability exam.
