Cassia Caregiver (HHA/ PCA/RA) in Princeton, Minnesota

Join our team at Elim Wellspring Assisted Living, a 5-star rated, cozy 30-unit campus formerly known as Caley House. We have Part-Time Evening Shift Caregiver opportunities available! 

In this role, you will join our team of professional caregivers to become an important part of our residents' lives. We are seeking people who are team players and who are also comfortable working independently. 

We're a short drive away from the following cities: Cambridge, Zimmerman, Dalbo, Elk River, Milaca, Pease, Foreston, and St. Cloud. 

This is a Part-Time, benefit eligible position working 2-4 shifts a week including every other weekend.

Shift: Evening (PM) (3:00pm to 8:00pm)

    What does a Caregiver do?

  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.

  • Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.

  • Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.

  • Assist with light housekeeping duties.

  • Document services performed on computerized charting system.

  • Assist residents with prescribed program activities.

  • Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.

  • Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.

  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

    What does a Caregiver require?

  • 1+ year experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) preferred. We will train you!

  • A passion for geriatric care.

  • Strong interpersonal and social skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Must be 18 years or older.
