Chesapeake Driving School Driving Instructor (In Car) in Prince Frederick, Maryland

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young drivers' lives? Chesapeake Driving School is thrilled to announce that we are seeking motivated individuals like you to join our team as classroom and 'in car' instructors at our MVA licensed Calvert County based Driving School.

We believe in creating a supportive and enriching environment where both our students and instructors thrive. If you enjoy working with people, especially youth aged between 15 and 25, and possess safe driving habits along with a willingness to engage with a classroom of up to 30 students, then this is the perfect fit for you.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Clean driving record (4 or fewer points on your driving record in the past 2 years)
  • Minimum age of 21
  • 3 years with a full driving license in Maryland

Here's what you can expect from the job:

  • A comprehensive certification and training process required by the MVA to become a state licensed instructor, lasting anywhere from 3-6 weeks depending on circumstances.
  • Once certified, instructors will have the opportunity to teach both 'in car' lessons and classroom sessions.
  • Starting hourly rate of $20 with annual rate increases.
