Aircraft Fuel Systems Engineer

Job Profile:

In this role, you will be designing and developing Aircraft Fluid Systems by conducting simulations analysis and optimisation techniques.

The roles and responsibilities include:

  • This roles key responsibility is to develop innovative and efficient fuel system for aircraft

  • Model preparation, analysis and simulation of the fluid systems using Siemens Simcenter Flomaster systems simulation software to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of the fuel system.

  • Identify potential risks, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions to optimise system performance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations, industry standards, and certification requirements for aircraft fuel systems

  • Plan and execute tests to validate the performance and functionality of the fuel system. Analyse test data, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions to meet design specifications and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration of the fuel system with the overall aircraft structures and systems.

  • Ability to work independently, being pro-active, communicate effectively understand the problem, use engineering judgment to simplify the problem, interact with stakeholders

  • Own the tasks assigned and be accountable for the quality of deliverables.

  • Writing technical report including system requirements, design specifications, test plans and reports detailing the analysis methods and results

Technical Skills:

The candidate is expected to have a good knowledge of Aircraft Fluid Systems, System Simulation Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) or any relevant

The candidate possess the following skills are added value

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft fuel systems, fuel storage, distribution and transfer.

  • Product design / Installation design using NX CAD or any relevant tools.

  • Knowledge of Thermo-fluids analysis and aero-dynamic loads & behavior

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and customer interaction skills.

  • Good Verbal and written English skills.

  • Good Team player.

Software Skills:

  • Siemens Simcenter Flomaster or relevant systems simulation software

Candidate’s Profile:

B.E. / B Tech. /M Tech. /M.E. (Aeronautical/Mechanical/Fluid/ CFD Stream) with 5 years or more of experience in the relevant industry, preferably aircraft industry experience.
