Billing Manager

Presque Isle, ME FT/Days Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Job Description:

Immediate need for a Billing Manager to work for a well-established business in Presque Isle. Enjoy competitive pay, flexible schedule options, and a friendly, team-based environment! Great opportunity for an individual with previous bookkeeping experience and strong administrative skills. FT/Days; Monday through Friday with room to adjust hours as needed. \$25.00 - \$28.00/hr. depending on experience.

The Billing Manager will administer payroll, organize and update client and personnel files, oversee inventory supply, and charge client accounts for goods and services rendered. Desired candidate should have at least three to four years of payroll experience, working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software, and excellent organizational skills. Previous experience in business administration, inventory management, and/or billing services strongly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee payroll by directing the production and issuance of paychecks and/or electronic transfers.
  • Update payroll records by reviewing and approving changes to employee pay-rates in accordance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Oversee supply inventory and keep accurate records of administered goods and services for billing purposes.
  • Place orders for supplies, comparing different vendors and services to improve reliability, service quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Review and administer invoices to clients for goods and services provided.
  • Create and implement billing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist colleagues and clients with administrative tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required. Degree in Business Administration and/or Accounting strongly preferred.
  • At least 3-4 years of payroll experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Intuit QuickBooks, and standard office equipment required.
  • Good customer service skills and close attention to detail.

Schedule: FT/Days; 30-40 hours/week. Office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday some room for schedule adjustments if needed.

Pay: \$25.00 - \$28.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.
