Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Installs, tests, adjusts, and repairs production machinery, utility systems, facility equipment, electrical supply lines and circuits, electrical/electronic controls, piping tubing, pneumatic controls and systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical systems.

Discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance technicians to diagnose problems and optimize equipment performance.

Identifies parts to be ordered.

Operates variety of hand and power tools, shop equipment and machining tools. Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.

Installing new equipment/systems

Diagnosing equipment operating problems, making repairs, replacing parts

Follows preventative maintenance schedule for all areas of plant. Inspects equipment for proper lubrication and performs scheduled preventative maintenance.

Maintains clean and orderly workplace.

Observes safety rules and practices; reports any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor.

Willing to train the right candidate with just some knowledge of the above requirements.
