Responsible for maintaining and managing the organizations raw material inventory within the plant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides the daily coordination of all receiving and stores activities across the site
{=html} <!-- --> - Reviews and implements all company inventory control strategies and policies to assure consistent application across the site
{=html} <!-- --> - Performs inventory cycle counting and physical inventories as defined and provides reporting
{=html} <!-- --> - Ensures that all inventory transactions and stock status reports are completed on a timely basis
{=html} <!-- --> - Coordinates the disposition of all scrap materials and return authorizations at the site
{=html} <!-- --> - Cooperates with all departments to assure a coordinated work relationship always exists
{=html} <!-- --> - Recognizes and takes steps to resolve inventory control problems to minimize the impact on operations
{=html} <!-- --> - Maintains consistent communications through department meetings
{=html} <!-- --> - Works with production line supervisors and Buyer/Planners to establish and maintain effective KANBAN inventory levels and replenishment procedures
