Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant – Full-time, onsite, $22-$24 per hour, Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a busy medical office with a positive working environment!

Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant

  • 2+ years of recent medical assistant experience required

  • Cardiology experience highly preferred

  • Specialty experience required

  • Medical Assistant diploma or certificate required

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant

- Greet and room patients

  • Perform patient intake

  • Prep patient for provider

  • Help provider with procedures

  • Answer phones

  • Prep charts

  • Obtain procedure prior authorizations

  • Perform patient callbacks and prescription refills
