Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion Completing all tasks, in order, on the prep list from the Head Chef or the Sous Chef Labeling and stocking all ingredients on easily accessible shelves Washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and meats Measuring quantities of seasonings and other cooking ingredients Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
