Overview

Excellent Internal Medicine Opportunity in Prescott, AZ (90 minutes from downtown Phoenix, AZ)

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full-time outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join our established and growing practice in Prescott, AZ. Under direction from the CMO, the candidate provides patient care in an outpatient setting by diagnosing and treating disorders and diseases, performing patient exams, ordering or conducting diagnostic testing, and developing ongoing treatment and disease-management plans. In this role, the candidate will also prescribe medication and coordinate referrals as necessary, conduct early-detection screenings and maintain accurate patient records and charts. Effective communication with patients, physicians, staff, and administration is crucial.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has excellent clinical skills.

  • Is dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care to patients.

  • Is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Arizona.

  • Is board certified or board eligible in their specialty.

  • Demonstrates a work history of positive collegial relations with colleagues, support staff, hospital-based providers, administrators and patients.

  • Demonstrates advanced competency in their specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Patient population - Geriatric

  • Work shift is 10 hours per day (4 days per week)

  • Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week

  • Daily patient volume: 15-18 patients per day

  • On-Call Commitment (via phone): Averages 1-2 times per month

Qualifications

  • Completion of an ACGME approved Internal Medicine residency program

  • Current Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

  • Valid state medical license as MD or DO

  • Valid DEA certificate

  • New graduates considered

Pay Range

$122.91 - $134.62 /hour
