Works cooperatively and maintains effective relationships with students, parents, district personnel and the\ general public, as is applicable to the position.

Responds with tact and courtesy in public or telephones contact situations and provides information requiring a\ knowledge of state and county education laws, board policies, district procedures and general educational\ information pertaining to the school.

Separates those items that are of a confidential nature from those that are not.

Works independently with little supervision; supervises other office staff.

Submits, revises and reconciles reports for the State of Arizona.

Applies general office practices and procedures, receives and places telephone calls and recorded messages;\ orders and maintains supplies; operates a variety of office machines, processes incoming mail including\ receiving & signing for deliveries.

Edits, publishes and distributes office memos.

Issues and maintains a current record of school keys to staff.

Composes correspondence independently using proper business English, grammatical usage and punctuation.

Performs a variety of bookkeeping task related to budgets, rentals, etc. Includes submitting, tracking, amending\ and documenting.

Maintains the department calendar of appointments for the Director.

Prepares and maintains a variety of staff lists including Personnel Action Requests (PARs), emergency phone\ tree, purchase requisitions, etc.

Arranges and processes travel paperwork for staff.

Contacts, obtains quotes and manages Purchased Services accounts and agreements.

Updates data and maintains department databases and procedure manuals as needed.

Contacts, hires and manages Purchased Services accounts and employees.

Enters and follows up with Facility Maintenance requests.

Distributes employee paychecks.

Maintains an active role in office safety procedures.\ KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Highly organized to multi tasks and manage priorities.
