Telespazio Belgium Security Design Engineer in Prague, Czech Republic

Telespazio Belgium can count on almost 40 years of experience in the field of Space Operations Service & Engineering activities. We provide a significant contribution to the most major Space programs of the European Space Agency. Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.

Currently, we are looking for highly enthusiastic Security Design Engineer who will work in the Czech Republic, in Prague.

What is expected from you:

  • Support threats identification and implementation of security mechanisms to protect data and control flows.

  • Assure a defense in depth design to provide security at different levels (e.g., physical, network, host, application and data level) following the secure design best practice.

  • Support and maintain the security technical baseline, including traceability to mission level requirements, and flow down to EUSPA procurement projects.

  • Elaboration of technical and contractual documentation (DCP/DCN, RFW/RFD, VCDs, Test Reports).

  • Support project reviews through projects' lifecycle on security aspects, including participation in CCB, ARB, CRP, and CRBs

  • Work in an international team and in cooperation with security experts.

What you offer:

  • Master's degree in telecommunications, cybersecurity, aerospace or other related engineering and science disciplines.

  • Knowledge and experience in space systems and ground systems architecture, EU Space Program project experience is an asset (e.g., Galileo, EGNOS, Copernicus).

  • Knowledge in threat analysis, secure design, code analysis, penetration testing, hardening, or secure operation.

  • Experience on secure-by-design approach implementation is a must.

  • Knowledge of DOORS and requirements management is an asset.

  • Eligible for security clearance from their national security administration.

  • Proficient in English, speaking other European languages is an asset.

The candidate must be eligible for EU security clearance
