Siemens IT Teamlead Low Code and DevOps Solutions in Prague, Czech Republic

Main responsibilities:

  • You will lead a team of 10 people (functional and disciplinary) across Germany and India which is responsible for the IT services of Low Code and DevOps solutions within Siemens Mobility. In doing so, you will collaborate with various business stakeholders to understand their requirements and to translate them into scalable low-code solutions.

  • In addition, this domain includes the responsibility for the development and operations functions to deliver high-quality software and services efficiently and reliably.

  • You will be responsible for the process and quality level across the IT service management and for the projects.

  • Also, you will be responsible for aligning the functional and IT strategy for the relevant functions and will act as business partner for the relevant stakeholders.

  • You will align with global process owners as well as service owners and advise on IT solutions, opportunities, and innovations to provide business value.

  • You will plan and coordinate the service budgets and resources and will ensure that the specified IT costs for the services and projects are adhered to.

  • You will also coordinate and manage external IT service providers and draft contracts.

  • Next to this, you will develop and communicate a strategic vision and roadmap for relevant DevOps initiatives and will collaborate with senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define strategic objectives.

Key qualifications:

  • You have a master's degree in business informatics or information technology.

  • Also, you bring in long-term professional IT experience and sound knowledge of IT service management (ITIL certification).

  • You are characterized by broad-based expertise in software engineering and application lifecycle processes as well as knowledge of requirements engineering and corresponding applications.

  • Experience in IT project management (waterfall and agile) as well as experience in managing external service providers makes you our ideal candidate (f/m/d).

  • You do also have significant experience in people management, change management and transformation. Strong communication skills and profound experience in communicating with top level management are required.

  • Business partnering and stakeholder management skills combined with critical thinking is a must.

  • Fluent English language skills and a willingness to travel round off your sound profile.
